The Aestheticians
Upasana & Parul.
Two aestheticians, one private studio inside Probeauty Suites on Enfield Place — a short walk from Square One.
How we started
We started with threading.
The kind of sharp brow shape that makes a regular become a driver-from-Brampton regular. Word-of-mouth in Mississauga's South Asian community is fast and merciless — clients don't come back unless the work holds up. Threading is how we earned the chair we work in today.
We opened S&U inside Probeauty Suites because we wanted our own room. Privacy matters — for brides especially, for first-time clients, for anyone who wants the service to feel calm instead of crowded.
What we actually do
Four quiet crafts.
Threading. Henna & mehndi. Facials. Bridal. Nothing else — because we'd rather get four things right than twelve things okay.
Bridal mehndi is where the work gets slow and technical. A trial 4 weeks out, skin prep 2 weeks out, a proper timed sitting on mehndi night so the stain has 8+ hours to develop. We take one bride per day during peak season — that's the only way the detail survives the wedding photography.
Who shows up
Our clients.
Mostly South Asian women from the Mississauga / Brampton corridor — Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Hindi-speaking. We converse in English and Hindi. A lot of what we do is pre-wedding: bridal mehndi, bridal facials, sangeet and mehndi-night guest bookings.
Between weddings we do the everyday work — threading walk-ins, festival henna for Eid and Karwa Chauth, de-tan facials before summer, clean-ups before an engagement shoot. The threading chair is where most of our regulars started.
The room
Probeauty Suites · Suite 16.
Probeauty Suites is a small building at 298 Enfield Place that houses independent beauty professionals in private rooms. Our suite is #16. You'll walk into a quiet reception, up to our room, close the door — that's the service. Parking on-site, transit options plentiful (Square One GO, City Centre Transit Terminal, 403 / 410 right there).
Upasana
The sharp hand.
Upasana runs the threading chair. Ten-minute brow sessions, steady hands on upper lip and face threading, and a regular clientele that travels in from Brampton and North York on Saturdays. If you're new to the studio, this is usually the chair you'll sit in first.
Parul
The slow hand.
Parul leads bridal mehndi and the facial program. She'll walk you through stain timelines, skin prep, and the patch test at your trial. Brides book her 3 – 6 months out during peak season — that's the chair with the wait list.
Come meet the studio.
